(DAYTON, Ohio) — Just like in basketball, don’t get caught “traveling” to the Big Hoopla Family Event, instead let the Greater Dayton RTA offer this “assist” with extended hours on The Flyer to help event goers use the free circulator route as a transportation option to and from the event on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
The Flyer will operate from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on March 13 on its normal route to assist with the Family Festival in the Oregon District. The Flyer runs every ten minutes, with several buses circulating on the route, so it’s a slam dunk to get you to all the festivities without having to worry about limited parking options.
To see a map of The Flyer Route visit www.iriderta.org/theflyer. You can also plan your trip by using the Transit app.
The RTA is also providing shuttle services for the First Four games on Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16. RTA’s Proudly Serving buses will shuttle event ticket holders to and from the University of Dayton Arena and Carillon Park from 4 p.m. to 11:55 p.m.
Since 2012, Dayton has hosted the NCAA First Four tournament, presenting the tremendous opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate. As part of the fun, the community is invited to the Oregon District for a free Family Festival. For more information on the event, visit www.daytonhoopla.com.
