Route 19 rerouted, stops closed due to bridge construction

(DAYTON, OHIO)… Due to bridge construction over Holes Creek, the Greater Dayton RTA will temporarily reroute Route 19 starting Jan. 23, 2023, as Lamme Road will be closed between Alex Bell Road and Bell Isle Drive.

The southbound reroute from Lamme Road is as follows: right onto Bushwick Drive, which turns into Jomar Avenue; then left onto Springboro Pike; left onto Cobblegate Drive; and finally, right onto Alex Bell Road to continue on the regular route. The northbound reroute is in reverse.

All stops along Lamme Road between Alex Bell Road and Bell Isle Drive will be closed throughout the duration of the construction project, which is expected to last approximately 9 months. Stop closures include:

The northbound stop at Bushwick Drive will be moved slightly north so it can remain open. Temporary stops will include two on both sides of Cobbelgate Drive, just north of Alex Bell Road.
