RTA adjusts service beginning July 23

(DAYTON, OHIO)… The Greater Dayton RTA periodically adjusts bus service in response to the needs of customers, communities and businesses. A service change affecting several routes will begin Sunday, July 23, 2023.

The following adjustments will be made to Routes 4, 6, 9, 12, 16, 18 and 22.

Route 4: Times have been adjusted by 2 minutes on all westbound trips from Wright Stop Plaza to Westown Transit Center. The weekday, westbound trips from Eastown Transit Center to the stop at Linden Avenue and Smithville Road have been adjusted by two minutes between noon and 6 p.m.

Route 6: The northbound trips between the stop at Main and Franklin streets and Wright Stop Plaza have been adjusted by three minutes for all services.

Route 9: All southbound lineup trips from Riverview Avenue and Broadway Street to Wright Stop Plaza have been adjusted by five minutes.

Route 12: The northbound trips between the stops at Fairview and Wheatley avenues and Benson Drive and Hillcrest Avenue have been adjusted by five minutes.

Route 16: The northbound trips from Main and Franklin streets to Wright Stop Plaza have been adjusted by one minute.

Route 18: The northbound trips between the stops at Dorothy Lane and Elbee Street and Cardington Road and Dixie Drive have been adjusted by two minutes.

Route 22: The southbound trips between Washington and Longworth streets and Cincinnati Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard have been adjusted by three minutes.
