(DAYTON, OHIO) … The Greater Dayton RTA is making it easier than ever for customers to schedule and manage paratransit rides with the launch of its new online reservation system—RTA Connect Online. The system went live today, Jan. 27, and is available for use by more than 5,500 customers enrolled in RTA’s paratransit services program.

Those who take advantage of RTA Connect Online can complete the entire paratransit services reservation process themselves online from any internet-enabled device. They can schedule, confirm, change, and cancel trips without having to call the RTA call center. The online service also provides a direct way for family members and caregivers to manage services for customers who are unable to manage their trips independently.

“We are excited to offer RTA Connect Online to our customers to give them a more efficient, easier way to manage their rides,” said Sally Brown, RTA alternative transit solutions manager. “Instead of having to call the RTA call center, customers can book, review, and cancel rides at home or on the go from their mobile device.”
