(DAYTON, OHIO)… Whether it’s taking people to work or helping put food on the table, the Greater Dayton RTA (Regional Transit Authority) team is helping the community. The team came together and donated 750 pounds of food to The Dayton Foodbank during a 21 day food drive beginning December 14, 2021 and ending January 3, 2022. The food will be used to feed families right here in the Miami Valley.

For more than 40 years, The Foodbank has served as a primary source of food for the hunger relief network in the Miami Valley. The Foodbank works to relieve hunger in the community through a community of partner agencies by acquiring and distributing food. The Foodbank provides the infrastructure for more than 100 member food pantries, community kitchens, and shelters that serve as the charitable hunger relief network in Montgomery, Greene, and Preble Counties.

The agency is very proud of the RTA team for their efforts to help relieve hunger in the Miami Valley. If our work has inspired you to donate please visit www.thefoodbankdayton.org.
