Route 7 construction
Due to Construction, stop ID# 168, 170, & 171 will be closed. Temporary stops on Holly at Muncie and Holly at Alice.
RTA will have several reroutes due to Independence Day Celebrations downtown
(DAYTON, OHIO)… Due to road closures associated with the City of Dayton Lights in Flight Festival at RiverScape MetroPark, the Greater Dayton RTA will experience several reroutes on Saturday, July 2 and Sunday July 3, 2022.
The reroutes are as follow:
Route 16: Detour will begin at 6 p.m. on July 2 and run through July 3. Northbound will continue on Jefferson, left on Monument, right on Main, right on Helena and left on Riverside. Southbound from Riverside, right on East Great Miami Boulevard, left on Main, right on Monument, left on Ludlow, left on Third, and right on Jefferson.
Route 11: Detour for southbound will begin at 6 a.m. July 3, from First, left on Webster, right on Second, left on St. Clair. Northbound will have regular routing.
Route 17: Detour will begin at 6 a.m. on July 3. Northbound detour will continue on Keowee to regular route. Southbound detour to continue on Webster, right on Second, left on St. Clair.
Route 22: Detour will begin at 6 a.m. on July 3. Southbound detour will continue on Webster, right on Second, left on St. Clair. Northbound will remain on regular route.
Route 18, 19: Detour will begin at 6 a.m. on July 3. Southbound from Monument, left on Webster, right on Second, left on St. Clair. Northbound will remain on regular route.
The following reroutes will be put in place after 8:30 p.m. on July 3:
Routes 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16 and 43: Northbound detour will be left on Third, right on Main to regular routing. Detour for 16 southbound will remain the same as above.
Routes 11, 17, 18, 19 and 22: Northbound detour will be right on Third, left on Keowee to regular routing. Reverse southbound.
As a reminder, RTA will operate on a Sunday schedule for all routes on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of the holiday. The Flyer will not run, as it does not have a Sunday service schedule. The RTA Call Center will be open between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will only be taking paratransit customer reservation and calls.
