Sunday service schedule on New Year’s Eve, Saturday schedule on New Year’s Day

(DAYTON, OHIO) … In observance of the New Year, the Greater Dayton RTA will run a Sunday service schedule on New Year’s Eve, Friday, Dec. 31 and a Saturday service schedule on New Year’s Day, Saturday, Jan. 1.  

RTA Connect Paratransit services will also follow the same timeframes of its weekend services through the holidays. The RTA Customer Service Call Center will operate under its regular hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Flyer will not run on New Year’s Eve, as the service does not have a Sunday schedule.

The Holiday Bus will continue running regular routes through Jan. 1. This year, the Holiday Bus features Santa and his RTA elves on the outside. Inside the bus there is festive music and decorations to get riders into the holiday spirit. The Holiday Bus will run on Route 12 on New Year’s Eve and Route 9 New Year’s Day.
