Route 2 being adjusted for water main construction

(DAYTON, OHIO)… Due to water main construction along South Jersey Street, the Greater Dayton RTA will temporarily adjust Route 2 starting Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023.

The eastbound reroute from Fifth Street is as follows: right onto Findlay Street and then left onto Huffman Avenue to continue on the regular route. The westbound reroute is in reverse.

The following stops will be temporarily closed:

• Martz at Burkhardt, ID #1905
• Martz at Huffman, ID #1907
• Jersey at Huffman, ID #1980
• Jersey at Fifth, ID #1983
• Fifth at Monmouth, ID #1984

The length of the reroute will depend on construction, but is expected to last until late April. Temporary stops will include one at Huffman Avenue and Massey Street and one at Huffman and Martz avenues.
