Ohio Loves Transit Day

Join us in celebrating Ohio Loves Transit Day on February 14! The Greater Dayton RTA and dozens of other public transit agencies across the state are celebrating transit and how it is the strong economic engine of communities.

FREE rides are available for all customers who show their driver that they’ve downloaded the Transit app. In addition, paratransit riders who booked their Friday trip in advance using RTA Connect Online can also ride free.

RTA staff will be handing out “Ohio Loves Transit” buttons, stickers, and valentines in the Wright Stop Plaza main concourse the morning of February 14. Anyone wearing one of these items with the official logo is eligible for special discounts thanks to partnerships with area restaurants and shops in support of “Ohio Loves Transit Day.” The Following discounts are being offered:

-Flying Pizza: 15% off all menu items (Main Street Location)
-Coco’s: 50% off tomato soup and grilled cheese lunch special
-Uno’s: Free frozen take home cheese and sauce individual deep dish pizza with purchase of $15 or more. Dine-in only, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (Main Street Location)
-Second Time Around: 20% off DVDs and CDs
-Duck Donuts: 10% off all menu items (Brown Street Location Only)
-Lee’s LTD: 10% off all menu items (Brown Street Location Only)
-El Rancho Grande: 10% off all menu items (Brown Street Location Only)
