RTA to offer free rides on Independence Day

(DAYTON, OHIO) – In observance of Independence Day, RTA will be providing free rides systemwide to help customers attend events and celebrations throughout Montgomery County on July 4, 2026.

Free services include fixed-route buses and RTA Connect, the agency’s ADA paratransit service. The RTA call center will be open during regular hours.

Customers can use the Transit app for real-time trip planning and service information or visit www.iriderta.org.
