Route 17 is expanding to bring new service to the growing Cornerstone area in Centerville. The revised route travels north and south along Wilmington Pike between Kettering and Centerville, continues down Clyo Road to Alex Bell Road, and heads west to SR 48 before returning to its current route. These changes are designed to improve access to employment, shopping and medical services in the area.
Route 17 will no longer serve SR 48 between Stroop Road and Alex Bell Road. Riders traveling through this section should use Route 6.
From Shroyer Road, Route 17 will now travel along Stroop Road to Wilmington Pike to replace part of the discontinued Route 28.
After 6:30 p.m., buses will bypass a segment of the route via I-675 from SR 725 and Far Hills Avenue to Wilmington Pike and I-675.
